I had a horrible stomach ick the past few days, and the best thing was when John came over at midnight to bring me gummy frogs! The best.

Forest to Shore Gallery had its 2nd anniversary show Saturday night in which I had 2 pieces included in the mix. It was an amazing show! To add to that, I was also paid for the last show I had with Mark Blanchard, Tom Ryan, and Christian Perez back in January. Woo, money!

Destroyer of Worlds

The kids love to clean the chalk wall in my classroom. This one in particular made it a fun game of destroying the world as he cleaned the Earth Day mural some kids drew yesterday. Some men just want to wash the world clean.

He pushed the cake off of the counter three times in a row. I would have prevented him from doing it again but he looked like he was having such a good time. The strength in that little bird surprises me sometimes...

I work as an art teacher, and there is no end to the great things my kids have said to me and just in general. It's a wealth of hilarity.

John and I are regulars at our local 24-hour diner, and are lucky enough to be able to sit and drink coffee in the wee hours of the morning and be regaled by David's beautiful operatic voice!

I come home at around midnight to find a skunk bumbling around the back door. I talked to it, jingled my keys, and it just continued to root around until it decided to move along after a few long minutes... This is not the first time this has happened...

Drug Puppy!

My brother AJ came to visit after spending the weekend at PAX East. John and I went to pick him up at the train station, and while we waited there was the cutest drug dog ever and I couldn't stop fawning over the thing. I wanted to pet that dog, but in retrospect that's the last dog you'd want attention from...
