New Machine!

So the package I got the other day was for my new laptop. My old one was nearing 6 years old and has already gone through one HD pooping out on me. I have transferred all my files over, installed the programs I need... I am a very happy girl!

Yay for New Business Cards!

Ended up getting my delivery of new business cards a few days early, so it was extra-awesome when I saw that package waiting for me!

I am also expecting my business cards to come in the mail next week. Woooooo I am in for a treat!

Photoshoot

So amidst the photos of Audrey I needed to take as reference for a painting I'll be starting on, we also got pictures of Bret modeling in her jacket and sunglasses, candid shots of myself mulling about, the horizon, and a Model-T that drove past.

Got a new buddy in the bathroom. As tradition holds, his name is Peanut.

Color Families

One of my star pupils spent the tail end of a rainy afternoon this week regaling the story of color families and relationships. The whole thing lasted an hour, kids asking her to repeat everything, to write it down, add in their own side stories... We had to stop because the day ended, though I'm sure it could and would have gone on forever.

Skull Staredown

I have a vinyl skull I need to paint for a show in July, and it's been sitting around for a month now, seemingly mocking me. I have no idea how to go about creating a cohesive, original painting on this thing...
